Getting Started
So, you've found a job you want to apply for—awesome! You've clicked on the "Apply" button, and are now on our partner site's application page, step 1 of 4. What now?
Well, If you've never applied for a job with Amazon, use the tab below labeled "I don't have an Amazon Careers application profile" to see what you need to do.
If you have applied with us before now, the tab labeled "I already have an Amazon Careers application profile" will tell you how the system works if you're already in it.
1. Step 1-3 : I don't have an Amazon Careers application profile
If you've never applied for a job with Amazon, then it's most likely that you don't have an application profile with us. Follow the steps in "Create Your New Profile" to select a username, upload a résumé (you may upload a cover letter, but we don't generally consider them), and give us your essential information.
Once you press "Create Profile," you will be taken to the Applicant Information Form, which is step 4.
2. Step 1-3 : I already have an Amazon Careers application profile
If you've ever applied with Amazon before, you should already have an application profile with us.
When you log in from an apply page, you automatically complete steps 2 (basic info/username setup) and 3 (résumé upload, work history, and essential candidate information), and jump directly to step 4, the Applicant Information Form.
3. Complete The Application Information Form
Eventually, both roads lead to filling out the Applicant Information Form, (if you're in the US, that is). Your application won't be complete until this happens. Once you've filled it out, your application is offically done! Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?
HELP! My application got submitted with an old résumé!
First of all, don't worry! The way Amazon's application system works, our recruiters always see the most current form of your résumé, no matter what version was on file when you submitted your application.
What you need to do now is go to your profile update page, and fix any information that needs changing.
